Obituary
Marvin R. Wilke, 87, formerly of Bella Vista, AR joined the Kingdom of Heaven on January 22, 2018. He was born in Hartington, NE to Catherine and Rudolph Wilke on June 8, 1930. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps until attaining the rank of Corporal. On June 15, 1951, he and Marilyn Jeanne Jensen were united in marriage. To this union, three children were born: Bruce (Marti), of Blue Springs, MO, Joan (Luke) Roberts, of Loveland, CO, and Jane Cozad (preceded him in death). He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff at Kansas City Hospice House for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145.
Our heartfelt sympathy to the Wilkie family. We had the pleasure of having Marvin and Marilyn for our neighbors for 15 years. Such a good and kind man. No matter what Marvin was facing he always did it with a smile. Rest in Peach our dear friend.
Marilyn, Joan and I are very sorry to hear about your loss of Marv. We know he had a hard time the past few years but he was always in good spirits every time we saw him. We enjoyed being your neighbors for the years you were here in Bella Vista. Hope we get to see you again. Joan & Mike
