In Memory of
MARY C. WARD
Mary C. Ward (Chris), 84, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away
peacefully in her sleep Friday, January 25, 2019, at the Villages
of Jackson Creek in Independence MO. Visitation will be held
Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 10-11 am at the Langford
Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, MO followed by the service at
11 am, with a graveside service immediately following.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Ward,
parents, Frank and Dorothy, Floetman, Evanko and her brother
Franklin.
Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and
Steven Gash; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kelly Ward; and
grandchildren, Emma Ward and Ryan Gash (Sarah) and great
grandson Lochlan Gash; along with numerous nieces and
nephews.
Mary was born on Christmas Day 1934. Prior to her retirement
in 1996, she worked as a legal assistant for several Kansas City
area law firms. Mary had a very dry sense of humor that will be
missed.
