A kind and gracious lady and a wonderful neighbor! Loved her gardening skills and frequently used her knowledge to help my black thumb curse. She will be sorely missed
I knew Mary Jane from when we were both in the same second grade class at Orchard Hill Elementary in Cedar Falls, Iowa (1958-59). We graduated together from CF High in 1969.
I remember her as always being very vivacious, very energetic. My condolences to her family at this difficult time.
Dear Conlee Family,
Mary was our neighbor and friend here in Lees Summit and at the Lake of the Ozarks. She was such a good person, we were lucky to know her and Ken. Please know we share in your sorrow.

Sending prayers for peace and comfort to Mary’s three sons and family. She and Ken were wonderful neighbors at Edgewood. Mary was always so kind and thoughtful- and I always enjoyed our conversations out in the yard when the weather was nice… She will be missed.
Besides being a neighbor, I enjoyed many years of being in yoga class with Mary. I am sorry that I did not try to visit her the past year.
I truly hope that on this day of remembrance there will be much celebration for a life well lived! I believe Mary (Janie) made an impact on many people and was an influencer of good. (I remember her as someone who was caring, smiled a lot, loved family–and doing things to bring joy to others.) I pray you will find laughter and comfort in stories and memories shared as you gather. Thinking of you all and with you in thought and prayer.

Mary was a wonderful friend for 50 years, and we shared a lot of memories. I will miss talking to her and hearing about the boys and her granddaughters. My thoughts are with Mike, Dan and Matt.
