Obituary

Mary Linda (McClary) Hagen, 74, passed away on May 16, 2019 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Overland Park, Kansas. Services will be private for family. Interment will be in Boonville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Arrangements may be delivered to the Lakeshore address.

Linda was born March 27, 1945 in Boonville, Missouri. She enjoyed making her own clothes during high school. She made outfits for her sisters as holiday gifts during those years at home. Linda earned her nursing diploma from Trinity Lutheran School of Nursing in 1966. She worked as a certified urological registered nurse at Baptist Memorial, Menorah Medical Center, and Fortis Healthcare. She received a Certified Associate Executive and ran the Hagen Associated Management Service with her husband. Linda also served as the Associate Director of the American Urological Association Allied. After retirement, she enjoyed encouraging her grandchildren in all their sports and theatrical endeavors. She enjoyed doing crafts and was an avid reader.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Helen (Gerhardt) McClary and sisters, Judy Sears and Kathy McClary-Fife. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Hagen; brother, Hubert McClary; sister, Jane Rodman; and three step-children, Heidi Hagen, Holly Cauton, and Guy Hagen.
