Obituary

Mary V. Christy, 90 passed away on April 22, 2018 at St. Luke’s East in Lee’s Summit, Mo. Mary was born on October 14, 1927 in Garnett, KS.

Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a passion for the outdoors and all the living creatures, which has been passed on to her family members. She will be remembered for her love of horseback riding, taking long walks with her dog, gardening with her husband John and spending lots of quality time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Agnes and Joe Boserman Sr. Brothers William and Joseph Boserman Jr, and her beloved husband John O. Christy.

Survivors include her son Earl Christy of Melbourne, Australia. Daugher Vicki (Steve) Miller of Greenwood, Mo Granddaughters Christy (Mike) Wright of Lee’s Summit, Mo, Lyndsey (Jay) Phillips of Greenwood, Mo, Stephanie (Wesley) Morris of Olathe, Ks, Jenny (Kraig) of Conroe, Tx. Grandson Ben Christy & Tatum of Conroe, Tx, 2 great grandsons Jace and Lucas Phillips and her beagle Trixie.

Interment location: Greenwood Cemetery
