Obituary

Michael G. Falder, 75, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away December 16, 2020.

Michael was born October 30, 1945 in Great Bend, Kansas. First born to George F. and Lorena T. Falder. An “Air Force Brat” who made a home with his family at Richards Gebaur Air Force Base in Belton, MO in 1958, and making life long friendships in his youth that carry on to this day. Michael served with the Air Force in Vietnam 1967 to 1968. After his service was completed, he returned to Belton and in 1970 he met, married and lived happily ever after with Carol, his wife of over 50 years. He also joined the ranks of The Kansas City MO Fire Department in 1970, retiring after 33 years of service from what he called the “best job ever”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lorena and his youngest brother, Morris.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Carol; his brothers, Marty (Candy) and Mark (Becky); and his loving nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.

Per Michaels request, cremation was completed through Langsford Funeral Home, Lee’s Summit, MO and no formal service held or planned.

Dear Carol, Our hearts are hurting for you! You and Mike had so many wonderful years together! I have the memories of growing up looking forward to visits between the Falders and Schmitt’s.
