Obituary
Patricia (Pat) Yvonne Cumpton age 87 of Lone Jack Missouri passed away peacefully at her family’s home August 5th, 2023. Patricia was born on February 29th, 1936, in Adrian Missouri. She was the 3rd born of 8 children of David and Elta (Coates) Robey.
On December 31,1954 she married Raymond Cumpton. In their union of marriage raised 2 girls and established their family farm in Lone Jack, Missouri. During this time Patricia also worked as a seasonal worker for the IRS and as an Insurance Estimator for the Department Of Agriculture.
Pat was happiest working in her vegetable and flower garden and enjoying simple country life. She was a member of the Lone Jack Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Cumpton daughter Cathy Cruz and infant son
David Allen Cumpton and three brothers Bob, Max, and RaGene Robey. She is survived by daughter
Elizabeth Valentine of Kansas City Mo. Two grandchildren Kaytland Taylor Barone of Denver Colorado, and Brandon Cruz of Lee’s Summit Mo. Son-in-Law Ramiro Cruz of Lee’s Summit Mo.
Sisters, Lila Gunn, Betty Flatt (Larry), Margaret Satterfield (Hervil) and Dolly Robey all of Adrian Missouri. Patricia also has numerous nieces and nephews that she cherished dearly.
Visitation and Service will be held Saturday August 12th at 10:00 a.m. at:
Langsford Funeral Home.

I loved my Aunt Pat and I will miss her dearly.
So many memories made at Aunt Pat’s, especially when all of us cousins were young. She was a great cook and a very hard worker. She never had idle hands. Someone to pattern yourself after, for sure. Rest is peace.
So many wonderful memories about this amazing lady. She’s going to be missed by so many of us. Tons of love and prayers for you guys always. Just remember that anyone can call us. God bless you all from our love.
Pat- My best friend, awesome neighbor, and adopted second mom. I will miss you always, I will love you always, I will always remember our fun times and our hard times. Your stubbornness and dedication helping me feed the cows, you’re teaching me many things. Thank you for your love and kindness through the years. Rest in peace with Ray, Cathy, and your loved one’s my dear sweet Pat.
Pat was an amazing lady of faith and perseverance. I am fortunate to have spend a few days with her and Ray. May she rest in peace.
Aunt Pat was always kind, with a heart of Gold. she always made my mom Ruby Cumpton Gonzales and I felt welcome in their home and was ready to feed u. She will definitely be missed, thx u Aunt Pat for all the wonderful memories that I will always cherish.
