Obituary
Paul Everett Buttram, 88, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on February 3, 2025. Born in Pondfork, Missouri, to Everett and Verna Buttram on November 11, 1936, Paul led a life marked by love, faith, and dedication.
Paul was a devoted husband to Evelyn Buttram, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. She preceded him into heaven exactly five years prior, on the same date. Paul’s brothers, Junior, Archie, and Bill, also preceded him in death.
Paul is survived by his beloved sisters, Wanda and Katherine; his children, Pamela Atchison and her husband, Carl Atchison, and David Buttram and his wife, Christy; as well as three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply.
A proud member of the United Auto Workers (UAW), Paul worked for General Motors for 41 years, finding purpose and pride in his work and his union. Above all, Paul was a man of God, putting his faith first, followed closely by his love for his family.
Paul will be deeply missed by all who know him. While we grieve, we find comfort in knowing that we will one day be reunited with him in our eternal home in heaven.

My Uncle Paul will always hold a special place in my heart.
Such a great man. Paul was always so kind and supportive of us during our time at Grandview Assembly. Oh what joy that he is with our Savior!
My Father was the greatest man I ever knew. He always put others ahead of himself. He put the Lord first and foremost. He was a wonderful Father and I will miss him dearly! I can’t wait to see you again in heaven Daddy.
