Obituary
Phillip Anthony Fusaro, 51, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on September 19, 2025. Phil was born August 24, 1974 in New Britian, CT to Peter and Patricia Fusaro. He grew up all over the US, and graduated from Warrensburg High School class of 1994 where he met and married his wife of 24 years.
Phil worked at DST Systems/SSMC for 25 years and recently joined the Carpenters Union.
Phil is survived by his wife Raginn Fusaro and daughter Kyla Fusaro. He also survived by his parents Peter & Patty Fusaro, siblings Peter & Angela Fusaro, Anthony & Theresa Fusaro, Nicole & Chris Buesing as well as his nieces and nephews Madison, Rylie, Tayler, Gavin, Olivia, Ariana, Peter, Samantha, Brianna, Benjamin, Jackson, Abigail, Hope, Aidan, and Jossy, his great niece and nephews Asher, Katherine, Estella, Thalia, Zayn, Adrian, Lilliana and Leo as well as his in-laws Rick & Ronda Carleton, Melanie & Garrett Sanders, Bryce & Whitney Carleton, and niece and nephews Autumn, Ethan, Kamil, and Opal.
While Phil’s family is large it’s even larger when you include his “chosen family”. His friends that met the world to him, who he loved deeply.
While his death was unexpected his life was full of love and laughter. He loved life and was a friend to everyone he met who would strike up a conversation with him. Phil loved everything “lake life”, golfing, fishing, his “poos” (dogs), barbecuing/smoking and Christmas. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
A visitation and memorial service will take place at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit MO. Visitation will be from 4-6, with a service following from 6-7 on Thursday, September 25th, 2025. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to ASPCA or Children Mercy.
Phil wasn’t once to dress up unless he had to. Please wear what you feel comfortable in and we ask that you wear red or blue for his favorite sports teams the St. Louis Cardinals & the Dallas Cowboys (no Chiefs gear! 😊)
