Phillip G. Keene
Phillip Greg Keene, 77, of Lee’s Summit died at 1300 on February 14th at Kansas City Hospice House.
He was born in Waynesville, Mo., December20, 1947, the son of Dorothy Evelyn and Willard William Henry Keene. He married Martha Jane Hudson in 1968. A resident of the Kansas City area for most of the past 50 years, he worked primarily in office management and accounting. Phillip was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.
Surviving are his wife Martha, son Robert C. Keene and wife Stephanie of Iowa City, IA, daughter Stacey A. Keene and partner Mark Laney of Lee’s Summit, MO, daughter Melissa J. Strub and husband Brian of Gladstone, MO, brother William J. Keene and wife Tammy of Springfield, IL, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 nephew and 3 nieces. Phillip is preceded in death by his sisters Marjorie Buth and Dorothy Carpenter.
Services will be held at 1400 Tuesday February 25th at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
