Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Radonna Sheeley announce her passing. On January 11, 2019 at St. Joseph Medical Center with family by her side Radonna went to be with the Lord in her eternal home. Radonna Sue (Edwards) was born January 6, 1966. She was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She grew up in South Kansas City. Radonna married Mike Sheeley in 1984 and they raised their two children, Cory and April in Belton, Mo. Radonna’s family was her life. She so enjoyed taking them to the Lake of the Ozarks (Gravois Mills) where she spent most weekends as a child herself. Radonna also loved her pets, Haley, Ginger, Fritz and Mittens. But the light of her life was her grand babies! She created special memories with them at the Lake of the Ozarks too. Another memory they will all share is their time spent together at Great Wolf Lodge. She had such a good heart.

Radonna is proceeded in death by her parents, Chuck and Judy Edwards and Donna D.Lewis, and brother, Jim Rowe.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Mike Sheeley, her son, Cory Sheeley (& Danelle), daughter, April Sheeley and six grandchildren, Marissa, Parker, Summer, Dallas, Dayton and Denver, her sisters Rachelle Jackson (& Doug), Rene Gelso (& Mike) brother, Eugene McQueen (GeneO), sister, Peggy Jewell, brothers, Dan Rowe (& Cathy), Bob Rowe
(& Sherilyn) and Tom Rowe, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.

Her Journey’s Just Begun
By Author Unknown

Don’t think of her as gone away
her journey’s just begun…

Life holds so many facets,
this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years.

Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much.
Rest in peace Aunt Radonna.
