Obituary

Rick Earl Gravitt, 65, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on May 27, 2018 at John Knox Village Hospice, after battling MSA, a rare neurological disorder. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 2, from 4-6pm at Grace Community Church, 101 SW Market St., Lee’s Summit, MO. Services will be Sunday, June 3, at 1pm, also at Grace Community Church. Burial in Lee’s Summit Cemetery. Rick was born on October 20, 1952 in KCMO to Martie James and Hazel Snow Gravitt. He was an Engineering Technologist at Allied Signal.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Gravitt. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda; son, Martie (April) Gravitt; daughter, Trisha (Brooks) Parker; three grandchildren, Violet, Kruz, and Kai; brothers, Larry (Nancy), Rodney (Kathy), and Greg (Maria); sister-in-law, Debbie (Walt); and many nieces and nephews.
