Obituary
Robert Ryken, 88, of Lee’s Summit, MO entered into eternal rest on May 3, 2026. Born on February 6, 1938, in Sioux Falls, SD, he was the epitome of hard work, dedication, and love.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucille Ryken (Hillyer) of 66 years, and is lovingly remembered by his children, Rick (Debbie), Kathy (Edward), and Mike. Robert had 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Graveside service on Friday, May 8, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at the Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Youth Building at 400 SE 14th Street, Oak Grove, Missouri 64075.
Robert’s kindness and quick wit will be held in fond remembrance. May he rest in peace.
