Roberta, it is with a lot of sadness that I receive this news. Bob was a mentor to me as you know. He trained me in the ways of Smead and guided me when I ventured off the track. I thought of Bob often and so enjoyed seeing him at our celebration of those that had retired from working for Smead. He will truly be missed.

I knew Bob as a hardworking, knowledgeable, considerate, loyal salesperson. I also knew Bob as a friend and fishing buddy. Never a dull moment fishing with Bob. If the fish weren’t biting Bob didn’t rest until he found something they liked.

I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Bobs family that he talked about proudly but I’m sure that with Bob as their mentor their good people and will miss him and help you in the coming years.

Roberta, while I can feel the sorrow of your loss, I know you have countless memories that will shore you up and give you the strength to make it through these difficult times.

I grew up in the office products industry and my father introduced me to Bob when I was just 16 years old. I thought the world of Bob and loved his work ethic. Roberta my thoughts and prayers are with you. I’m sorry I can’t make the funeral.

Roberta:
Jackie and I were saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman, loved a great story, and a real gentleman. I am grateful for his friendship.

Roberta,
We were sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. You were blessed to have many good years and happy times together. We’re glad Bob got to see the Chiefs become awesome again! God bless you.
Roger and Susan Netsch

Bob was a fine and honorable man and a great father. I was blessed to be his friend and we shared many days in the field or on the water. We spent many days and nights together on the property we shared. He was always looking how to improve and drove us both tirelessly. He shared his wisdom and I benefitted by learning from him. I will miss Bob but he is with his Savior and at peace.

We are sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. We never knew anyone who had as many friends or who deserved them more. We will always remember Bob and feel very fortunate to have called him a friend.
Roberta, our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
