Obituary
Mr. Robert Lee Looney, age 58, passed away May 4, 2020 at home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Memorial and graveside services are to be determined at a later date. Mr. Looney was born March 20, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was an avid outdoorsman and gun collector who loved to hunt and fish. Robert enjoyed playing drums and loved any music with a good beat. He loved his family and was so excited to become a Grandpa. He was a long time employee of Atcheson Lawn & Landscape in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilborn “Bud” Gordon Looney; his mother, Leona Fern (Barker) Looney; and his 2 brothers, Mr. Ronnie Gordon Looney and Mr. Roland Edward Looney.
He is survived by his daughter, Katherine Lynn Miller; son-in-law, Jason Miller; his grandchildren, Madelynn, Jessica, and Lucas of Grandview, Missouri; his sister Tena Marie Anderson of Commerce City, Colorado; brothers, Ricky Dale Looney of Harrisonville, Missouri, Randy Looney of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Russell Glen Looney of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; sister-in-law, Wanda Looney of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; 12 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Robert Lee , you will be missed by many. You had such a beautiful smile and a laugh and a laugh that will last a lifetime. You will be missed more than one way all I can say is play them drums and tell everyone that we said hello. Love Shona and Sheri and families see you on the other side
