I had the pleasure of spending quality time with Ron on the Lee’s Summit City Council. He always had the City’s best interest at heart and his sense of humor was infectious! I’m sure he inherited that from his talented mother who I played music with locally. You will be missed, RIP my friend.

I’m shocked and sadden by the news of Ron’s passing. We served together on the Lee’s Summit City Council back in the 1990’s and I always found him to be a very thoughtful and honest person to work with. Ron was a fair-minded person and always made the point to listen to all sides of an issue before drawing conclusions. I considered Ron a good friend that I had to opportunity to work with. He will be missed by all that had the honor to know him. God Speed my friend.

deep condolences to the family ! Safe journey to peace and rest in eternity waiting for family and. Visiting with earlier departed! And joy with the Lord ! Thanks for the memories you left with all of us !

It is with great sadness that I join with so many others to mourn the passing of a friend to us all.His kindness, humor and generosity he showed to so many will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family at this very difficult time. I pray they find healing and peace.
Ron will be missed very much, we were blessed to have known him.

Ron was my friend, conspiritor,, “do drop”vonviant,
Advisor and the consummate public servant.this town ment more to him than any one serving today. He was ‘Uncle Ron’ to both myself and Parker and will remsin so forever.

Condolences for you and family. Lots of fond memories of family get-togethers at the Blue house. Love to you all.

My Condolences to your entire family. Ron was a big part of Lee’s Summit, and I just spoke with him a few weeks ago. Hugs to all. Ben Rao

Ron was a friendly neighbor and community leader that will certainly be missed.

Ron,
You will always be a special friend…..our mothers were great friends…
We went to church together when we were young….we pheasant hunted together in South Dakota,
served in the Chamber, Rotary and so on together…..
You will be remembered and missed.

Love you, Dave Cross

What a special guy Ron was. He is greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to the family.

What is with absolute sadness that Ron has left this community. He was not only a fantastic person, but an amazing Rotarian and he supported so many people in different ways within this community. Our community has lost a respected leader and someone who was not just benevolent, but he cared more than so many, and his legacy should be remembered. Strong communities lean on community builders such as him. Rest in peace and we all owe you a great deal of gratitude.

Ron was and will continue to be a cherished memory for his humor, laughter, leadership with nuance , and total commitment to insuring Lee’s Summit did the “ right thing” —- not the whim of the day or politically popular easy road decision. To his family, friends and acquaintances my heartfelt sympathies.

Martha and I are saddened by Ron’s passing. I will always have pleasant memories of playing golf, coffee at the Whistle Stop, and of course, Friday afternoon “therapy” at the Do Drop Inn. May God bless and keep you old friend until we meet again.

Sondra my prayers to you in this time of loss and sorrow ! May all the joy and reflections of the love you have for your brother sustain you ! I am truly sorry i missed this gathering ! no excuses i just did please forgive me ! May the lord help you through this time and family stay close for their love and support ! I know the feelings you are feeling and hoping you recover with grace and purpose , to help your friends and family resolve their loss also ! With much sorrow and love ! Michael Dyer 😢

To the family of Ron Williams:
So sorry for your loss. I met Ron when I took piano lessons from his Mom, sweet lady. Then went to high school with him & was in the same graduating class. I would see him about twice a year when he came into the office where I worked. He will be missed. Praying for comfort & peace for the family in the coming days.
