Obituary

Ronald Steve Oltremari II was born on July 13th 1965 and passed away on December 5th, 2023. His parents were Ronald Steve Oltremari Sr. and Susan McDaniel, both deceased. Ronald was born in Greenville, MS. His brother, Colin Oltremari passed in 2006. Colin is survived by his sons, Jake and Grant Oltremari. Ronald is survived by his younger sister, Lynn Oltremari Martin, husband Anthony Martin and two children, Samantha and Dominic Martin. Ronald is also survived by his children Evan Oltremari and Benjamin Oltremari as well as their mother Marisa Oltremari, his first wife. Ronald later re-married to Sue Martin, who had two boys of her own, Cliff and Mitch Martin.Ronald Oltremari spent most of his childhood growing up in Shawnee, KS, a graduate of Shawnee Mission South.Ronald’s talents seemed infinite but perhaps the most impressive projects were a product of his unmatched handiness; He created everything from tables to a rolling workshop complete with a vice. One of the most efficient things he engineered was a pulley system, attached to the ceiling of the garage. It made taking on and off the hard top of his Jeep, next to no work. He also refinished two basements of homes he had in Lees Summit.Ronald loved vehicles, owning at least four Jeeps as well as many other types of cars/trucks. Taking his new “trike” out for rides with other Harley lovers was a favorite pastime. Ronald had a ’67 Mustang, he fully restored with his father when he was a growing up.Ronald had many jobs throughout his life, working hard enough to achieve the goal he set – “work very hard and retire early.” He accomplished this at the age of 52. After he retired, he sold his home and became a full-time RV’er traveling from coast to coast, as long as the weather was warm. He made strong relationships with some fantastic people who cared about him and who cared for him.Ronald was very witty and clever with a wonderful sense of humor. He was driven, ambitious, and had unmatched organizational skills. He had an infectious positive energy about him. He didn’t only help people with problems around the RV grounds but was an organ donor and consistent blood donor across the country. Although Ronald took pride in everything he did, he was proudest of his boys Evan and Ben and made sure they know.
