Obituary

Rosanne Marie Stewart, 79, from Lee’s Summit, MO, was called home to the LORD on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am to 11:30 am and the service at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  1602 N Ranson Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086.

Reception will follow at First Baptist Church of Belton.  810 S Cedar St., Belton, MO  61012.

Rosanne was born on February 9, 1947, in Kansas City, KS, to Lester Burton and Edna Audrey (Frankenberg) Lowry.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Stewart; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Aimee Lucas; grandson, Benjamin Lucas; granddaughter, Kimberly Gerhards; great-granddaughter, Emma Gerhards (all from Lee’s Summit, MO); brothers Justin Charles Lowry (Edmond, OK), Philip Morton Lowry (Davie, FL); sisters Mary Jeanne Lowry (Overland Park, KS), and Linda Beth Kieper (Las Vegas, NV); as well as many nieces and nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joseph Lester Lowry.

Rosanne graduated from St. Pius X High School with the class of 1965.

She had jobs, hobbies, and interests, but none of those really mattered to her as much as God and family.

She loved to play games, especially cards, because it was a good reason to spend even more time with the family.

Rosanne was known for her love, joy, and affection for God, family, and friends. She would often cry when a loved one would leave, even if only for the day.

As a memorial tribute, Rosanne would have wanted you to give someone a hug and tell them that you love them.
