Obituary
Scott E. Miller, 59, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away June 25, 2022.
He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Norman L. and M. Therese (Hoffman) Miller. Scott was a 1980 graduate of Castle High School and attended classes at the University of Southern Indiana. He previously worked for Pepsi and Guys Foods, but has worked the last 20 years for Frito-Lay. Scott loved sports. He achieved a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Hecoached youth soccer from both sides of the field. His favorite teams were the Kansas Jayhawks, KC Chiefs, KC Royals, and Detroit Red Wings. He was proud to be a founding member and season ticket holder of the KC Current Women’s Soccer Team.
Scott is survived by his wife Karen (Altstadt) Miller; children Nicole Reed (Jeff Biard), Daniel Miller, Emily Tinney (Kodey); and grandson Ayden Callow, all of Lee’s Summit; sisters Maria Miller of Overland Park and Candy Lietzow (Mark) of Olathe; niece Amy Lietzow of Overland Park, and nephew Tyler Lietzow of Olathe.

Scott and I were good friends in high school. His mom Terri worked for my dad, and we became fast friends when they moved to Newburgh. A lot of great memories of high school with Scott and our gang. Rest In Peace old friend.
