Obituary

Sharon Kay Madden (MiMi) 80 years old, passed away at the Madden Ranch with her entire family by her side. She was born in Colorado – a place that was always near and dear to her heart. She is preceded in death by her husband Gene Madden Sr. (Pops) and her 2 brothers, Clyde McDougal, Walter McDougal. She is survived by her daughter Christy Vinson (Loren Dean), her favorite son Gene Madden Jr. (Rhonda); her grandchildren Michelle (Kevin), Alexandra, Bianca, Caroline, Brooke (Zack), Alexis, Austin; her great grandchildren Parker James, Maelynn Jane, Avery and Banks; her 2 sisters JoAnn Cornett and daughter Jody; Jeanne Miller (Greg) and daughter Lauren (Andrew), son Andrew (Courtney); 1 brother Woodrow McDougal (Mary) daughter Jenny (Craig), son Adam (Shelly); and many great nieces and nephews. She started work at Western Electric in the 60’s with Gene Sr. and made it her career. She enjoyed horseback riding, pickleball, trout fishing, camping, gardening, motorcycle riding with her Mojo family, and of course shopping! But her greatest enjoyment was with her family, and all the times at The Farm.
She loved unconditionally and was always willing to help with anything. She will be missed by so many. We all love her to the moon and back. There will be a private service with family.

We will miss Mimi very much! She was a wonderful person and friend. My dad worked with Mimi and Pops at Western Electric/AT&T for years. I remember seeing a picture of Mimi at dad’s retirement party years ago. We also remember so many annual Runnebaum parties and Mojo rides & get togethers. RIP Mimi! We love you!

Your mother was amazing, and I know she will be greatly missed. Sending you & your family love & comfort during this difficult time.

Mimi will be deeply missed. We remember most her warm smile, contagious laugh and her passion for adventure on the many Mojo motorcycle trips– especially the Southwest trip through Oklahoma, Arizona, and New Mexico with Mimi, Pops, Loren, and Christy. She was one cool and classy lady. Sending the whole family our love and deepest condolescences.
