Obituary

In Loving Memory of Stephanie

Stephanie was a light in our lives.

She loved deeply and without hesitation.

She laughed in a way that filled the whole room.

Her laughter was unmistakable.

It was bright, genuine, and contagious.

She loved her family fiercely.

She adored her sister and treasured their bond.

She loved her friends and made each one feel seen.

She loved being part of a team.

She especially loved being on the Steppin’ Out The Studio and Lee’s Summit High School dance teams.

She loved moving to music.

She loved the joy of dancing with others.

She loved traveling and discovering new places.

She was curious about the world.

She had a love for technology and all things innovative.

She appreciated the little details most people missed.

She loved her car.

She especially loved her Tesla.

She took pride in it and enjoyed every drive.

She loved game nights and board games.

She loved laughter around a table.

She loved conversations that lasted longer than expected.

She loved moments that felt spontaneous.

She loved celebrating other people.

She loved being surrounded by those she cared about.

She carried both strength and gentleness.

She could be determined and tender at the same time.

She had dreams and plans for the future.

She lived with energy and intention.

She found joy in simple things.

She was thoughtful in quiet ways.

She gave more than she ever asked for.

She valued connection.

She valued belonging.

She valued love.

She reminded us not to take life for granted.

She reminded us to laugh louder.

She reminded us to dance when we could.

She reminded us to show up for one another.

She leaves behind memories that we will hold close.

She leaves behind a space that only she can fill.

She leaves behind a love that does not end.

Our only regret is that not everyone had the chance to know her as we did.

But those who did were blessed beyond measure.

We carry her in out hearts always.

Stephanie was my colleague. I will never forget the first time I met her, she gave me the biggest and best hug moments after I introduced myself. That is how I will always think of Stephanie and I know her spirit will always be remembered.

May the almighty Lord give strength to the people who knew Stephanie as they go through these difficult times;

Stephanie was my colleague, but she was also my friend. Her passing has struck me harder than imagined. I don’t think I can muster up the words to say how much she will be missed.

Love you, Sis! May you linger in God’s embrace until we can meet again in heaven.

I have had the pleasure of working with Stephanie during our pharmacy days. A fashionista she was and one kind soul!

This is hard… I find myself typing and deleting, typing and deleting, frozen physically but mentally spiraling. She was the last woman I’ve ever loved, and likely will stay that way… Excuse me while I dig my heart from my colon… This world did not deserve you…

R.I.P. Stephanie C Santiago
