Obituary

Sue Williams McDonald, age 54, of Excelsior Springs, MO passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.

Sue graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1985.  She worked various jobs but her most cherished occupation was that of mother to her two sons.  She loved music and had a soft spot for animals of every kind.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, Paul S. Williams.  She is survived by sons, Nick and Stephen Conaway of Excelsior Springs; mother, Linda Williams of Kingsville, MO; sister, Jo (David) Ver Mulm of Murfreesboro, TN; a niece, nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In her final and most generous act, Sue became a tissue donor.  A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wayside Waifs or the animal rescue of your choice.
