Obituary
Teresa Ann Steele (Linnenbrink), 87, passed away May 10, 2022. Funeral will be Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 am at Langsford Funeral Home, Lee’s Summit, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00am. Burial will be at Floral Hills East Cemetery, Lee’s Summit, MO following the service.
Teresa was born on Oct 28, 1934 in Washington, MO. She married Jack Steele on November 26, 1955. Teresa loved to cook and spent much of her summers canning and freezing produce from the large garden. She made great meals for her family and friends on many occasions. Like her mother, she also loved to quilt and was honored by the Lee’s Summit Quilters Guild during one of their annual quilt shows. She has many heirloom quilts that she has shared with her family.
She is proceeded in death by her father Martin J. Linnenbrink, Teresa A. Linnenbrink(Rustemeyer) and infant son Robert Steele.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years Jack Steele, son Bill Steele (Cindy) of Greenwood, MO, Linda Adams of Springfield, MO, Jeff Steele (Shelly) of Greenwood, MO, seven grandchildren, Leah Saathoff (Kirk), John, Kyle (Katie) and Scott Adams, Stacey, Jackson (Jessica) and Martin Steele, three great grandsons, Gunner Saathoff, Arlo Adams, Forrest Steele, and many other family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
