Obituary

Tom Guthrie, 79, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed August 26, 2018. Tom was born July, 31, 1939 in Calico Rock, AR and graduated from Arkansas State University. He began his career in manufacturing management and as a grocery store owner. Tom moved on to open his own Real Estate Consulting firm, TMI, with his partner, Ron Perkins. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and nature. Tom was a loving husband and father that will be deeply missed. We look forward to that glorious day when we can be together again in Heaven.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lena Guthrie and brother, Ernest. Survivors include his wife, Jean; daughters, Lisa Yount and Cheri Wilkerson; six grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Joyce Skinner, Robbie Scott, and Mary Thurman.

To honor Tom’s wishes, there will be no memorial services.
