Obituary

Tishie Lynn “Tootie” Stoebick passed from this earth on October 10, 2024. She was born August 23, 1935, in Alden Bridge, Louisiana to Lavinia (Cassie) and Odus Hagan.  She was the fifth of six children. After graduation from Cotton Valley Louisiana High School she moved to the “big city” of Kansas City, Missouri, to begin her working career.

On December 12, 1959, she married Robert Stoebick and they moved to Independence, Missouri. Shortly thereafter she became a wonderful mother of two children Roger Stoebick (Jana) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Rhonda Stadter of Kansas City, Missouri.  She was a proud grandmother of Sarah Lockridge (Kristian), Daniel Stadter (Taylor) and Dylan Stadter (Abby) as well as three great-grandchildren.

A longtime resident of Independence, Missouri she worked for many years at Tri-City Construction Company and attended Sycamore Hills Baptist Church.  She enjoyed making special memories with her family and traveling. Always in the forefront of those memories are the countless family trips “Down Home”.

Lynn was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband of 42 years Robert Stoebick. Siblings John Hagan, Lindy Hagan, Peck Hagan, Sue Morgason and Greta Mosley.

The family would like to thank the staff of Kansas City Hospice for their kind and loving care of Lynn in her final days.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice.

A Celebration of Lynn’s life will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  Family and Friends are welcome to attend.

There will be a brief time for sharing found memories and stories led by Sarah Lockridge at 2:30 p.m.
