To Todd’s family —
I knew Todd best in high school. He brought warmth and wit to every conversation and situation, and his sense of humor was unmatched. Onstage in plays or competing in forensics tournaments, wow! He made even the most difficult roles seem easy. On behalf of the Raytown High class of 1986, please accept our deepest condolences. We will miss him terribly and remember him fondly. Our hearts go out to you.

I have fond memories of Todd and his family. It seems like just a few weeks ago when we were eating KFC (Todd’s request and it was delicious) and laughing so very hard. It was a beautiful day.

Be strong Robertson family, Rejoice knowing he will be waiting for you.

All my love,

Gary Stewart

Words can’t really express the sorrow I felt when I read this email he was a great guy and it was an honor to get to take care of him and I’m sending prayers to you and your family God bless you

Todd and I worked together a short time many years ago. He was always so much fun as we tried quizzing each other on music and movie facts. I am so very sorry for your loss. He was such a nice man.

I am heartbroken. Todd was one of my first successful forensic students at RHS. His achievements were many but his friendships were greater. None of us will ever forget those fantastic eyebrows and how much he made us laugh. One of my cherished possessions is a group picture of Todd and others on our squad at my wedding. His smile is etched in my memory. My condolences to his beautiful family.

Gena,
I am heartbroken for you and the boys. Todd was a great guy, and I really enjoyed our political conversations. I feel very lucky that we are friends.
Love,
Kathy

Thank you Todd for loving my dear friend Gena. I wish I could have met you. I wish you peace and also will keep your family in my prayers.

We meet people who forget us. We forget some that we have meet…this is part of life. However, there are times you meet people you can never forget! Gena, you and Todd are such people…the warmth, kindness and openness you both shared with me is something a person cannot forget. That first time Ron introduced me to the “Pack” walking towards that table filled me with some trepidation, but as I glanced around the table seeing your smile, Todd’s grin I gravitated to that end of the table. Todd’s warm welcoming hug was something I’ll not forget, each subsequent visit always ended with one of those big hugs. Hugs that I will miss. His words during that very first hug stick with me, a very simple “be good to him” I am greatly saddened by your loss…Todd will not be forgotten.

Dear Gina,
Deepest sympathy, love, and prayers for you and all who loved him. Will keep you close in my heart and prayers.
Love,
Cathy

I am so sorry to hear of Todd’s passing. He was such a caring individual with the best sense of humor I’ve ever known. I was in debate and forensics with him at Raytown, and he added so much to the squad. Just a couple years ago I ended up next to Todd early one morning while on a bike at Legacy. We had a good visit catching up on mutual high school friends and life. His love for his family was so evident. I’m heartbroken for you all. My prayers for peace and comfort and unending love are with you.

Our paths crossed later in life, and I was fortunate to call you a great friend. We enjoyed listening to music, and having a drink or ten; whether we were sitting in your backyard, or around a raging fire pit with friends and family. Your life inspired all those you touched. See you on the other side.

I am very sorry that I am traveling and unable to attend services for Todd with you today. Please know my heart is with you at this time. I love you. Deni

Praying for you, Gena, and your family. May you feel God’s presence during this time of sorrow and may you hold the memories of Todd close to your heart.
All my love,
Julie

I am sooooo sad for you and the boys 🙁
You be sure to let me know if you need anything…. including some time out for quick bite or drinks. Lynette and I would love to hang out with you 🙂

Gena,
I wish there were words to make this easier. Todd was such a great friend-hilarious and fun to be around, during high school college and beyond. His love of acting and music were always apparent and his talents were many. I have so many happy memories of Todd and wish we would have had more time together. So sorry for you, Keenan, and Evan. I hope that your memories will help comfort you during this tough time. I’m here for you!
Love,
Kat

I just keep thinking of all the laughter, wine and friendship as we would sit around and talk about a half a dozen things at once. It never changed from our early days in college. No matter how much time had passed, we were all friends and at heart the same people we always were and glad to be together. Todd brought so much life and insight to every gathering. His music, humor and good will for us all will remain a treasured memory.

Gena, I just saw Kara’s post tonight. You and your sons are in my thoughts. Todd was a fighter. Love to you and your family. Karen and Gary Norris

Gena, I am so sorry for your suffering. You always light-up when you talk about Todd and your boys. Please know my love and prayers are with you. Love, Angela

My sincere prayers goes out to you and your family. Im sorry for your lose.
