She was the strength of our family; you could always count on her kindness and love.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Sloan, son, Robert (Bobby) Sloan, her parents Lodivico and Clara (DeGard) Sebben, brother’s John, Angelo, Joe Reno, Reno Sebben, sisters, Marie Sebben, Dosalina Susich, Rosalie Davis, Josephine Peckumn, Rosa June and Violet Zupancic.

Arrangements by Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW 3rd Street, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063

Private Graveside burial in Lee’s Summit Cemetery on Tuesday, June 6th at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to Village Hospice or The American Cancer Association.

Perhaps they are not stars in the sky but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.

I so enjoyed going over to Ginny’s house to stay the night with Jessica. These were good times. She was always so welcoming and sweet to me. Although I haven’t seen her in years, she will always have a special place in my heart for being so kind.

Ginny was a sweet kind soul. Met her a few times and she never forgot who I was. I know she will be missed by all of her family. RIP Ginny and fly high. ❤️🙏❤️‍🩹

Ginny, you were a second mom to me. Both you and Bob, as well as your gracious children, made all who entered your beautiful home on the lake feel as if they belonged. You raised wonderfully kind children who demonstrate the values you taught them…generous spirits and loyal hearts…just as you wanted.
Job well done, Miss Ginny.
We love you, sweetheart; and we bid you fare thee well until we meet again. I know you will have set aside a slice of your scratch chocolate cake just for me.

What a sweet beautiful woman. Thinking of her family during this hard time.

We didn’t get to be around your mom very much, but the kind of woman she was is strongly evidenced in Cindy’s life. I know you will miss her sweet presence. We are praying for your family during this time.

Aunt Ginny was such a welcoming loving Aunt!
Sending big hugs and lots of love to her family at this time!
Fly high, Aunt Ginny!
I will always think of you with lots of love and wonderful memories of you!

I am so sorry for your loss, your mom was a special lady, she will be missed!

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Virginia ‘s passing. She was a very sweet and strong woman. I so enjoyed the few times our families got together. Wish we would have done that more now. It meant so much to Joe to see us all together. Seems strange that WE are now the older generation. Much love and sympathy to you all. I feel privileged to have known both your mom and dad. They were good people.
Our heartfelt sympathy,
Angelo and Mary Casa

I am so sad to hear this.
My Dad’s last sibling… no longer here but in Heaven with Jesus.
What a homecoming!
We are so sorry for your loss.
My heart is heavy for all family here… but joyful for Aunt Virginia. She is with Jesus!
Loving prayers to all of you.
