Obituary
Bill Bruce, 64, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away March 23rd, 2024. A graveside service will be held at Lee’s Summit Cemetery on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at 12:00pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the college fund for his grandson Owen Bruce, the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Society.
Bill was born August 25, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and married Vicki (Lee) on August 17th, 1991. He retired from the Lee’s Summit school district after 27 years of service at the warehouse. In his free time, Bill enjoyed planting flowers and gardening. Bill enjoyed family functions and spending time with his children and grandson, Owen.
Bill is preceded in death by his wife (Vicki Bruce), parents (Owen and Evelyn Bruce), and his sister (Marie Bruce). He is survived by his son (Justin Bruce), daughter (Nicole Bruce, future son in law (Bradley Fisher), stepson (Brad Lee), sister (Sue Bruce), grandson (Owen Bruce), nephews (Chris and Drew Conkling), nephew (Bobby Bruce and wife Michelle and daughter Charlee), and niece (Melissa Bruce)
