Obituary
Wilma Lee Stevick 95, formerly of Lee’s Summit, passed on Mary 12, 2018 at John Knox Village House. Wilma was born on July 5, 1922 to James and Cora Jones in Springfield, Mo. She was preceded in death by a son, James Stevick, one brother and five sisters.
She is survived by three children, Jacque Flint (Tom), Ron Stevick (Eileen) and Craig Stevick; daughter-in-law, Gaye Stevick Foutch; 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31 at Lee’s Summit First Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A private graveside service in Springfield, Mo will be held at a later date.
When I was young we would take trips in the summer with Grandma (Thelma) & Grandpa (Shrum) to see family whether it was just within the city or to Springfield or Lebanon. Family was SO important to them and I miss not taking those trips anymore. One trip I remember (although I can’t remember to where) was with Wilma Lee, Marie & Grandma. I have a picture somewhere but can’t find it! I always had such a good time with them all and it was constant laughter and good times. I miss them ALL so much. They had such a tight bond and I know they are celebrating all being together again.
