Obituary
Ardella Matilda Moody, 87, Leavenworth, KS, passed away on Tuesday July 18th, 2023, from a brain hemorrhage. Ardella preceded death by five brothers and 4 sisters. She has one brother and 4 sisters who is survived: Kenneth Goepferich, Agnes Warren, Mary McNeel, Linda Owen, and Betty Grogan. Ardella had two sons and three daughters. She has joined her husband, Dannie Moody, along with Jimmy Moody, Dannie Moody Jr., and Danetta Barbee. She has two daughters Debbie (Husband David) Johnson and DeAnna (Husband Kevin) Mahoney, six grandchildren Kelly Holt, Christopher (Wife Alicia) Johnson, Corey (Wife Rachel) Johnson, Casey (Wife Chandler) Johnson, Cheyenne Francisco, and Danielle Francisco, and eleven great grandchildren Preston Robinson, Grace Porter, Wyatt Johnson, Owen Johnson, Nolan Johnson, Beau Johnson, Rhett Johnson, Kyla Hershman, Kynlee Johnson, Bentley Johnson, and Emery Johnson. Ardella Moody passed away with her family by her side.
Ardella Moody was born in Brownville, NE to Victor and Kate Goepfrich. She grew up on a farm with her brothers and sisters. Ardella Goeprich married Dannie Moody and was married for 58 years. Ardella started working at Walmart in 1984 and was there until she retired in February 2023. She had often attended mass at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church. Ardella’s last year was spending time with family, and her pups, she enjoyed gardening when able to and being outdoors in the warmth. She loved working on color by number books and helping her family whenever she could.

I’ve known Ardella for so many years..my mom worked with her @ TG&Y & Debbie & I have always been constant friends. She was a wonderful woman and a good friend. She’s in a happy place with her loves Danny & Danneta. God rest her soul. ♥️
