Bonnie Jean Davis, 93, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on May 4, 2020. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit, MO.
Bonnie was born August 1, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri to Montie and May Millsap. She attended First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions.
I did not learn of my first cousin’s death until October of 2021, as no one notified me. I was sad that I was not given a chance to send flowers or express timely sentiments. Bonnie and I were 26 years apart but we both loved God and wrote poetry. I know I will see her again.
