Obituary

Elizabeth Wallace, 86, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at home with her family. Visitation will be January 11, 2018, at Langsford Funeral Home, from 1-2pm and service at 2pm. Cremation. Our blue-eyed beauty was born Elizabeth Thornton in Evansville, IN. She married O.C. “Boots” Wallace and together they raised six musical, artistic, animal-loving children. She was known to family and friends as “Tommy” with a heart that was consistently kind, generous, and beat most strongly when with her children and grandchildren. She was a gifted poet, singer, and fudge maker extraordinaire! Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Boots; mother; and siblings. Survivors include her children, Rick (Patty), Mike (Cathy), Donna, Dori (Drake), Diane (Becky), and Ron (Lisa); grandchildren, David, Sara (Dustin), Emily, Abbie, Jacy (Ronnie), Mikenzi, and Skylar; great-grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Cadence, Talon, Brooklyn, Dean, and Mikenlea; and her furry feline room-mates, Edward, Nicki, and Izzy. Earth lost a precious woman and Heaven gained a perfect angel!
