Obituary

Gerald Crispin, 52, passed away November 4th, 2019 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  God welcomed him home to join the greatest choir of all, singing praises to his King for all eternity.

Gerald was a devoted member of Evangel Church in Kansas City for nearly 16 years, where he was a model of service in nearly every aspect of the church, including Choir, Harvesters Outreach, 2 Men’s bible study groups, Kid’s Church and hospitality.  He loved to make others laugh and was such a joy to be around.  His fun-loving personality and quick wit made him loved by many.  He enjoyed a great cup of coffee, lots of sugar, lots of creamer…or maybe a dollop or two of ice cream.   He loved watching his Chiefs football, usually sprawled out on the floor on his favorite pillow, beside his much-loved black Lab, Baker.  His favorite pass-times included watching sports, eating popcorn, taking naps and enjoying family time.  He loved going on dates with his wife and taking his two sons out for one-on-one time.  He loved God and his family above all.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie, two sons, Matthew and Jonathan, sister, Dr. Shauna Acker of Colorado, Brother, Matt Crispin of Colorado, Brother and Sister-in-law, Jeremy and Sheila Haines of Lee’s Summit, Parents, Jerry and Vera Crispin of Colorado and Masami and Eunice Willis of Kansas City, and several much beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 8th, from 6:00-8:00 PM.  The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 9th at 1:00 PM.  Both services will be at Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW 3rd St, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.
