I remember your fun animals when Melissa was in high school. You will be missed

Matt
We are very sorry for the loss of your mother. You, Dawn and the rest of your family is in our prayers. God Bless

I am so very sorry for your loss. Joan was a beautiful, strong and caring woman. I didn’t see her often, but she was always a pleasure to visit with. She is in a better place now.
Blessing to all of you,
Jan Sullivan

To my lovely big sister. May you be at rest now and warm in the love of our parents and your husband, John. You can be proud of the job you and John did raising Matt and Melissa into the fine, successful adults and parents they are.
I will miss you, but remember the happy times we spent as kids at home. Especially swimming and skiing (you really were graceful on your slalom ski) at the lake on summer weekends.

I’m so glad I was able to visit cousin Joan for a few days in the spring of 2019. We spent hours on her lovely patio, enjoying the dogs and the fish, and gabbing and gabbing and gabbing some more. So much to catch up on. I got to see the enormous, detailed family history that she created, and was duly impressed with the time, effort and dedication she put into it. It would require many days to take it all in.
Joan was always so kind and attentive to my parents (her aunt Stella and uncle Paul), calling them and even driving to Denver to visit them on a fairly regular basis. She was a lovely, loving woman, completely devoted to her family. I know she was very proud of her kids and grandkids, and found great joy in your happiness and achievements. Know that she is always with you and loves you still.
With love and sympathy,
Margaret Grimes Nelson

Missi , Matt, and family,

Joan so delighted in talking about her grandchildren and their accomplishments! I so admired her tenacity to overcome her health issues, she was an inspiration. I will miss our lunch dates, Paneras will never be the same. We enjoyed many conversations and texting streams as of late and I got to spend a day with her a couple of weeks ago which I will always remember and cherish. Peace to you dear friend.
