Obituary
Kenneth “Ronald” Hombs of Pleasant Hill, MO passed away at St Lukes Hospital Saturday, February 1, 2020 of complications due to kidney infection.
The funeral will be held at Langsford Funeral Home at 115 S.W.3rd St, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063 on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, visitation at 11:00 AM followed by the service at 12:00 PM. Internment in Harrisburg, MO, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Am. Heart Assoc, or Am. Kidney Fund.
Ronnie was known for his love of old cars. Through his life he has built several dune buggies and restored multiple vintage cars. He enjoyed dancing weekly with his wife and the multiple friends he made at these community dances. During his life he loved to go spoonbill fishing with friends & family. He traveled multiple places in the US with his wife and friends. He was well liked by everyone who knew him. He never had anything negative to say about anyone.
Ronnie was survived by his wife Linda of 57 years, 3 children – daughter Ronda & Rusty Damron,of Freeman, MO, son Russ & Robin Hombs of Kansas City, MO, and son Paul Hombs of Oak Grove, MO. 6 grandchildren – Brandee & J.R. Goddard, Jake & Emily Damron, Kendra Damron, Alex Damron, Russel Hombs, Ryan Hombs. 2 great granddaughters Aleeya Hombs & Melody Damron. Two sisters Janice Carlos and Tracy Southerland of Harrisburg, MO. and several nieces & nephews.

was so very sorry to hear about Ronnie’s passing. Had plan to come to his funeral but had someone coming in from out of town so wasn’t able to make it. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you on this very sad day today
I will Miss seeing Ron at the car cruise. He will be deeply missed.
