Obituary

Marjorie Lee Fancher (Nana), 90 of Warrensburg, Mo passed away on April 21, 2018 at Warrensburg Manor Health Care Center. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7701 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Mo. 64138. Memorial Contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.

Mrs. Fancher was born on January 11, 1928 in Clinton, Mo. She was a graduate of Clinton High School before she came to Kansas City to work as a secretary. This is where she would meet her husband, James Fancher. They were married December 26, 1950. They raised two daughters. She was also affectionately known as “Nana” to her five grandchildren. Besides being her grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader at all of their many sports and dance events; she loved to cook and spend time in her garden. She will be remembered for her stubbornness and fierce devotion and love of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and the many whose lives she touched.

She is survived by the love of her life and husband of over 68 years, James Fancher and her two daughters and their families. Lisa Marie Martin and Michelle Stewart.
