Obituary
Maurice E (Cork) Wright, 91, of Greenwood MO, passed away March 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Ruth. Cork and Ruth were members of the Lee’s Summit United Methodist Church. Cork and Ruth were farmers in eastern Jackson County. He is survived by 2 daughters, Sally Hart (John) of Warrensburg Linda Goin (Jeff) of Pleasant Hill,4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers Cork always said he wanted people to “go eat a good steak dinner to help support the cattle farmers “.

Linda, our hearts are heavy to know of your loss of your sweet father Cork. He always brought a smile with him and his presence with you out at Missouri Town brightened our day. He was a sweet and kind man. We feel blessed to have known him. God grant you peace as you mourn your loss! We love you.
