Obituary
Rachel Rene Keltner Stone
Born March 31, 1975 in Kansas City, MO. She rolled over, with her big eyes wide open, looking all around the room.
Rachel was a blessing to all that knew her.
Rachel loved God, her family and all her dogs but we sometimes didn’t know in which order.
Rachel loved planning events. She included family, friends and neighbors. We can see her sitting outside and all her neighbors would end up at Scott and Rachel’s driveway.
Rachel was the adventurous one. Planning vacations for the family. She loved the beach, 4 wheeling and taking the dogs for a walk/jog. She was always thinking about what they were doing next and Scott was wondering too!
She was tenacious when it came to getting answers to medical problems or any problem.
She enjoyed teaching because she felt she could guide teens into making good life choices.
Rachel loved her husband Scott, her daughter Brooke, and son Brayden. And of course, her dad and mom Gary and Judy Keltner, brother Jeramy LaFollette, father and mother-in Law Howard and Vickie Stone, brother-in-law Matt Stone as well as all her many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rachel passed on February 16, 2023 and is praising God in Heaven!
Meet me at His throne.
Condolences

Rachel’s daughter works at our bank. She’s such a sweet young lady. When we heard the news about her mother I was so sad for her and her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Brooke and your family. May God be with you and give you peace.
Prayers for you and your family.
We just moved to the area and Mrs.Stone was one of the first people we met. She was so nice. My daughter absolutely loved her and was always greeted with open arms. She always came home saying that Mrs.Stone always greeted kids with Good Morning and a huge smile. She will be missed dearly.
Mrs Stone was my daughter Laura’s Health teacher and was a fantastic teacher. She was so friendly and engaged in talking with parents & students.
I am so sorry for your family’s loss; prayers to her husband and kids.
Future LSHS students will miss out on a great teacher and so thankful for all her years of service to the district and its students.

Rachel often stopped in at my work. It was always a bright spot in my day when she stopped. I really enjoyed chatting with her while I rang her up. My heart was very sad when I heard she had passed. The world sure is dimmer without her and I’m certain Heaven is brighter. Prayers for her family and all those she left behind.
Scott and Family: As cousin’s on your Mom’s Hill side my Brother Bryan Hill and I want to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family. And we will be keeping you and your entire family in our prayers.

Rachel was beautiful inside and out. We got to know her from living in our neighborhood. She was lots of fun to be around. We enjoyed getting together for the Fourth of July and birthday parties for the kids. She has such a kind heart. She touched many lives and we are blessed for knowing her. We are praying for her family and so very sorry for your loss. RIP and fly high Rachel.
Rachel is an amazing soul. She shared her encouragement always and checked in on others when they were not well. Brooke and Brayden your Mom is and will be with you forever! Scott, you will see Rachel in everything you do now and in the future. Encouragement comes from “Our Angel’s in Heaven” when “We” need them, always remember that.
My heart goes out to this family. What a tragedy. Gary and Judy and family are in my thoughts and Prayers. God Bless you all.
Rachel was such a genuine caring person. I loved it when she was Sydnee’s volleyball coach, because we both learned a lot from her! She was patient with the girls, but also fun to be around. She will truly be missed. Praying for all of you, until you are reunited once again.
Scott I am so sorry… She was a wonderful lady, and what a blessing she was to so many people. Praying for you and your kids, and her whole family.
I’m a sophomore in high school and even though I’ve only known her my freshman year and this year as well I’ve grown really attached to her and she was an amazing teacher I just wish she stayed a bit longer she was my advisor so she was someone I could really trust and be with
I worked with Rachel for many years. My granddaughters Aubri and Alayna both had the privilege of being her students. Rachel was one of those individuals whom everyone loved, respected, and admired. She was kind, compassionate, and cared about every student. We are so sad for your loss. Please know we will continue to keep her in our thoughts and keep her family in our prayers. With Love, Duvall girls
My sincere condolences to you and your family! So sorry I missed the service, Rachel will be greatly missed!💜
